At the Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center, we believe in the transformative power of the arts to inspire, educate, and build confidence in young minds. Our educational programs, including The Young Artists Program and Broadway Kids, offer children a unique opportunity to explore their creativity, develop teamwork skills, and shine on stage. Whether they’re learning classic show tunes or creating their own imaginative performances, these programs foster growth, self-expression, and a lifelong love of the arts.
Open to children attending the YMCA’s Preschool Program at Bethany Church, the Young Artists Program offers a unique opportunity to incorporate the performing arts into early childhood education. Educators from the MRPAC will guide students through music, movement, and creative activities, enriching their learning experience. This program fosters focus, self-expression, and confidence, all while creating joyful and memorable experiences through the magic of the arts.
Broadway Kids is a fun and immersive program designed for children in grades K-2 who love to sing, dance, and perform! Over the course of a week, participants explore the magic of musical theatre by learning songs, practicing choreography, and working together to create a mini-showcase. With a focus on creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, Broadway Kids introduces young performers to the joys of the stage in an engaging and supportive environment.
The Young Artist’s Program and Broadway Kids are offered at different times throughout the year, giving your child multiple opportunities to explore the arts. Stay updated on the next registration period by signing up for our emails or following us on social media!
