The Nutcracker Auditions

Be Part of a Cherished Holiday Tradition at the MRPAC!

Foxboro Classical Ballet Academy and the Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center invite dancers and actors of all levels to audition for The Nutcracker, our annual holiday performance at the MRPAC. Whether you’re dreaming of dancing as a Sugar Plum Fairy or a spirited toy soldier, this is your chance to take the stage in one of the most treasured productions of the season.

Things to Know:

Those auditioning need to only choose one date/time.

Both new and returning dancers are encouraged to audition!

AUDITION TIMES/DATES

Saturday, September 6th:

1:00-1:30pm – 7-12 year olds

1:45-2:15pm – 12-16 year olds Beginner/Intermediate Dancers

2:30-3:15pm – 14 years and up Intermediate/Advanced Dancers

Monday, September 8th:

4:00-4:30pm – 14 years and up Intermediate/Advanced Dancers

4:45-5:15pm – 12-16 year olds Beginner/Intermediate Dancers

5:30-6:00pm – 7-12 year olds

PERFORMANCE DATES

December 13 and 14 at 1:00pm and 4:00pm (both days).

Dancers may be cast in multiple shows but are not guaranteed specific shows/dates.

REHEARSALS

Saturday and/or Sundays, depending on role, starting in October.

FEES

There is a $25 audition fee per dancer/actor due at the time of the audition. Audition fees are payable to the MRPAC via cash, check, or Venmo.

We do accept walk ins, but sincerely appreciate your registration and payment in advance.

There is $100 participation fee if selected as a cast member. This fee will be billed by FCBA after the cast list is announced and is payable directly to the studio.
